Relais Villa Delle Rose

In Lecce - Puglia 

For my 31th birthday we went to Lecce in Puglia. Only one and a half hour away from where we live in Puglia. 
I had contact with Relais Delle Rose for some days before we arrived, they were very kind and helpfull. Because we drove through a storm from Martina Franca to Lecce we arrived later than expected, but the girl from the reception was so kind to meet us with her car so we could drive after her. 
the first impression was the driveway that made us feel arrive so free. the driveway is surrounded by green palm trees and we could hear the crickets. 
you can park your car in front of the Villa which is really nice for unloading bags with three little kids. 
the entrance was so impressive and beautiful. 
the suite was also the best because our suite had entrance to two balcony's from both sides. 
the beds were really comfortable maybe also because we took our own duvet. 
I never like the thin bed sheet. Also the bathroom is beautiful blue painted and was really big. 
Only the shower can't be called a shower, more like a tap that was a shame because the rest was so beautiful. 
I never had such a lovely breakfast before in Italy as I had at Relais villa delle Rose. The best coffee, the best yoghurt, the most delicious eggs, and toast. The kids loved their breakfast and we did to. 
maybe because it is after season but the pool wasn't maintained and the dogs of the owner were walking free around. 

But the place was magical and it was truly amazing to stay at the beautiful Relais Villa Delle Rose.

Hotel Miralago Cernobbio

In Cernobbio Amalfi Coast

Every year we visit this amazing Hotel near Lago Di Como. It is absolutly the best way after a long drive from Holland to stay in Italy. We have stayed in this hotel many many times for years now. 
This summer they invited is to collaborate with them and they cooked the best diner for us. 
the kids are always very very happy there and it feels so warm and safe. 
This hotel is in every way a good choise to stay.

HILTON AMSTERDAM

In Amsterdam Holland 

Hilton Hotel gave us the most warm and lovely welcome you can imagine. We stayed there for a couple of days and celebrated the birthday of a family member.

When we enter the amazing suite they had a amazing surprise for us, they made a cake for us there was champagne and a beautiful card where they selected all the pictures of us during are trip through Italy. 

The rooms are big and very comfortable, also for children it is the best hotel to stay.

We could stay in a double Family room suite, which means that the children had their own room and there is only one door between the two rooms. So you have your privacy but still you can enjoy together.

RESTAURANT LE BALLU PARIS

In Paris 

The most beautiful boutique hotel of Paris have invited us for one week to celebrate my birthday. It was an honor to stay there and a must see when you visit Paris to celebrate my Birthday there.

The Hotel is in a very calm and beautiful street in Paris, we were invited and we had the best time. for one week we could enjoy our stay there. They have the best restaurant where you can sit outside but covered with beautiful plants.

The hotel has the most amazing swimming pool which was private and you have to book your hour to use it. 

Everything was extremely lovely and nice. 

We received a beautiful family suite to stay for the week. The kids had their own room and we had ours to but only with one door in between. 

Highly recommended to stay alone, as a couple or with children.

Chateau St. Gerlach Limburg

In Limburg - Holland 

Not once, not twice but many times St. Gerlach invited us to stay. When you are in Holland and you prefer to have a very luxurious but calm stay you must visit St. Gerlach. especially with children this is the best place to go, you also see a lot of older couples going there because it is so chique and many people who live in Holland know this place.

Because we have been there many times before it feels like coming home but then in the perfect home.

It had an amazing view from every room, the service is the best we have ever experienced and there is even een big swimming pool. Whenever we are in holland we will visit St. Gerlach.

ST. REGIS ROME

In Rome - Italy

It always was a dream to stay at st Regis in Rome, we went there for my birthday and they spoiled us with the most lovely champagne and a beautiful cake and sweetness for the kids. We will visit them again definitely because when you stay there you will not leave the suite often because it feels so nice staying inside of the hotel.

It is funny because we were in Rome to celebrate my birthday but we almost did not left our Suite because it was so nice to stay there. The service is beyond good and also the decoration was very chique but comfortable. 

The suite was small but still it had everything you needed. 

Also the bathroom was a dream, the shower was so big and lovely.

HOTEL LE BALLU PARIS

For my birthday we went to Paris, we had the most lovely diner at the restaurant of Hotel Le Ballu. It had a big Terrace outside and the food was culinary and delicious. Very cozy and very chique, absolutely one of my favorite hotels.

And don't forget to visit the amazing restaurant of this hotel, very culinair and the place gives you a magic feeling because you are surrounded by plants and cozy music.

MICHELIN RESTAURANT INVITATION

For my birthday I have been invited to have diner at the most beautiful place in Amsterdam old south named: Brasserie van Baerle. Truly a culinair and high end experience. they made a special menu for me and my quests and we enjoyed the most lovely evening. Brasserie van Baerle is a very luxury but warm and cozy restaurant.

The service is more than good and the restaurant has a beautiful garden but is still near the centre of Amsterdam.

Usually it is not the most well known pace to eat with children, but our little princess loved it and ate her favorite fries and a delicious dessert. The owner is a very kind and beautiful woman named Floor. You really can see that she put all her love and work in her restaurant but also training her staff.

HOTEL LA BUSSOLA AMALFI

We were traveling for three months through Italy with our children, and on the way back to Lucca we wanted to stop for one night at the Amalfi coast, but it turned out we liked it more than we thought and we stayed there for two weeks.One week on invitation of the Hotel and one week we booked for extra. We fell in love with the Amalfi coast a lot, it has the most romantic and calm atmosphere and the people are so lovely.

The hotel is beautiful located only a few steps away from the sea.

EATING AT MICHELIN RESTAURANT DE KLOKKENSTOEL

We got invited by the sweetest Brother and Sister the two owners of this restaurant. It was truly nice that I could bring my parents to this very exclusive place in Friesland. We went there with the boat and we had such a amazing evening there. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome and the food and the wine was beyond delicious, not regular taste as you may know but very particular combination of fish and vegetables. 

You really could taste the love that they put into their work, and that was truly a next level experience having diner at the klokkenstoel. 

I always like to share every beautiful moment and celebrate with the people that I care about so that was why I took my father and his wife with us. Fleuri is such a calm and sweet little girl that for her it was no problem at all to sit at the restaurant all evening.

GRAND HOTEL HUIS TER DUIN

It was a lovely experience to stay at Grand Hotel Huis Ter Duin Noordwijk. My Grandpa worked there when I my mother was a little girl and that felt so special to know that my grandpa was so happy working here on now we got to stay here in the most beautiful suite of the hotel. We got to see many beautiful places but this one was another experience because this hotel is located in front of the beach. The view made us feel so calm. 

We got invited to eat at the lovely Michelin Restaurant La Tour where the sweetest chef Mauritz was serving us. He died last year but we will never forget him and thanks to him we had our first amazing Michelin experience. We will never forget our stay there. Thank you Grand Hotel Huis Ter Duin for always make us feel so welcome.

In the afternoon we went for a swim in the beautiful big pool of the hotel, which you can reserve for an hour.

As you can see we have stayed many times at Chateau St. Gerlach and this was our first time.

PILLOW HOTELS has many beautiful boutique hotels in Holland. One of mu favorite hotels we have been to, because of the amazing interior it feels so beyond nice to stay a couple of days in one of the boutique hotels. Everything has taken care of. The food, the atmosphere, the suites but also the staff is very professional and kind. 
it was absolutely a lovely experience to celebrate the birthday of the love of my life.
pillow Vondel hotel is located next to the Vondelpark in amsterdam south. A very calm and luxury area but still near the centre of Amsterdam.

CHATEAU DU LAC

For Father's Day I did everything I could to organize the most special day for my father and I took him to a unique hotel in the middle of nature near a big lake. 
We went to a famous golf course but for me driving the golf car was more fun. We had a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed the amazing time there. 
It was very easy for us to park in front of our suite.

It was a lovely long weekend at Winselerhof. They invited me to stay there and play golf and enjoy the beautiful nature. It was such a pleasure staying there and again I thought about who could I make more happy with playing at the most beautiful golf course of Holland than my father. 
I did everything I could to make the best weekend of it and we had the luxury to eat in the amazing restaurant of Winselerhof which is highly recommended because it their unique flavors and luxury atmosphere.

For the celebrations of the second birthday of my son we got invited to celebrate this day with a lovely and truly delicious diner at De Veranda in Amsterdam. 
the owner of the restaurant came to our table during diner and she was so lovely to speak to. 
It is always nice to see that people who are so lovely work so hard to make other people happy with great service and in this case the best diner. 
they have a special child menu for the kids and they gave the kids a beautiful drawing poster.
